NEW STUFF

My NEW BEAD STORE!!

Laughingbird Beads Store

AUGUST 2008. WELL, obviously, I don't get here very often! BUT I have some new stuff to add! I have recently "discovered" Swarovski Rivolis and boy are they gorgeous! I bought Laura McCabe's book and of course I want to bead everything in it! I also bought a bracelet pattern from Anne Benson and did some truly great bracelets from it.  The earrings are modified from the button on the bracelet. Fun pattern to do, uses a LOT of different sized seed beads, which I had in my stash!  Here is a link to where you can buy the pattern:

Wow, having a regular job can sure interfere with your beading time! But, it allows me to buy more beads, and that is the subject of this rare communication!
I opened a bead store! Right here, online! See the link above:

November 2005

Lately, I have had a lot of e-mails asking if I am still selling kits. Gee, I wonder why? Couldn't be that it's been nearly TWO YEARS since I've done an update to this site!! Well my apologies to anyone who was waiting for something new here. Life has a way of happening no matter what you had planned!
I have moved yet again! Boy, I should be really good at this by now! Beads may be small, but they are a pain to move. I now live (temporarily, I hope!!) in a very small trailer on San Juan Island (still in Washington State) and have had to rent a storage unit to house my bead studio, seems they would fill this small space where I live! But the beading still goes on!
I have plans to begin teaching here (on San Juan Island, NOT the trailer!!), but probably won't have anything together on that until January or so.
The Gypsy bag kits are still for sale, in fact I have added some fancier designs, and will be posting pictures during the next weeks. There is a sea shell fantasy bag, a tiger bag and a halloween bag..... too bad I didn't have this together BEFORE Halloween!
Anyway, I'm still here, so are the bags, and I will add to this as time permits. Beady hugs to all the dedicated bead addicts out there!
